MPS District Updates on Summer Programs
Explore your MPS Summer Program options now!
Whatever you’re looking for this summer, MPS has a program to meet your family’s needs—whether it’s innovative free Summer Scholars academies; free to low-cost Super Summer enrichment and learning; Minneapolis Kids childcare; or School Spirit Sport Camps.
Summer Scholars: Explore. Create. Connect.
Explore more this summer through an innovative, immersive summer experience that challenges your student to explore a world of possibilities both in and out of the classroom. It’s a place where learners forge their own paths, dream up new ideas, and find meaning in everything they create. All while discovering endless ways to connect with friends and their interests.
Your student is a scholar. And at MPS they can explore, create and connect all summer long. Summer Scholars is free and open to all students in grades PreK-8, with both in-person and virtual options depending on a student’s grade. Many programs are also available to students who live in Minneapolis but do not attend an MPS school. Learn more at SummerScholarsMPS.org or by reading the program guide.
NOTE: Register by June 7 to make sure your student will get free transportation by the third day of Summer Scholars programming!
