Family Tips / Academic Resources & Scheduling
We want all of you to know and understand the curriculums used in the classrooms to educate our student population at CityView.
Currently we are working with Grove's literacy programs and Benchmark Advance literacy programs in reading and Bridges / Number corners for Math. These programs provide a rigorous learning environment that will enhance the learning of each student at CitView Community School. The standards require each student to engage with more rigorous, complex text as well as dive deeper into the interpretation / comprehension / understanding of text in the areas of literacy and mathematics.
Below you will find links to the Benchmark family letter in English / Spanish. Also, we have added our Groves daily take home activity calendar, link to our Elementary math Newsletter. This allows our families to have a talking point with students about their daily learning in the classroom.
Throughout the school year this will be updated with different academic resources for our families and community stakeholders to review.
